Immittance Spectroscopy of Smart Components and Novel Devices

AC small-signal immittance spectroscopy is employed as a viable tool to demonstrate electrical characterization, performance improvement, and quality assurance issues of smart materials-based components and novel devices. The variation in the ac response, complemented via dc measurements within a range of tolerating temperature, delineates competing phenomena occurring in the microstructures of these engineering material systems. The results are presented in a generic manner with possible explanations on the mechanisms for two selected Debye-like (nearly ideal) and non-Debye (non-ideal) low-capacitance resistors. This spectroscopic approach allows systematic development of a representative equivalent circuit, considered to be the characteristic of the devices and components, for specific applications

Pengaruh Olahraga Terprogram Terhadap Tekanan Darah Dan Daya Tahan Kardiorespirasi Pada Atlet Pelatda Sleman Cabang Tenis Lapangan

Perubahan fungsi kardiovaskuler akibat latihan olahraga secara teratur akanmempengaruhi nilai Tekanan Darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh latihan olahraga tenis secara terprogram selama 12 minggu terhadap tekanandarah dan daya tahan kardio respirasi pada atlet pelatda sleman cabang olahraga tenislapangan.Rancangan penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan one group pretestposttest design. Sampel penelitian adalah atlet pelatda sleman cabang tenis lapanganberjumlah 10 orang, yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kelompok perlakuanmenerima latihan tenis terprogram, yaitu latihan 3 kali seminggu selama 120 menitsetiap latihan. Sphygmomanometer digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan darah padapembuluh arteri perifer.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Ada peningkatan daya tahan kardiorespirasiyang signifikan (p<0,05) pada atlet yang mengikuti latihan tenis secara teratur selama12 minggu. (2) Ada penurunan tekanan darah yang signifikan (p<0,05) pada atlet yangmengikuti latihan tenis secara teratur selama 12 minggu

In the relationship between Islam and the state it is necessary to clarify the political decision of the ruler over the political role of Islam. The process of development are two sides of the same coin, one side is the physical development and the other side is human development. However, in the development process, usually prefer the physical development, and less attention to human development. Therefore, people as objects, not subjects of development. The political authorities see development only in terms of economic benefits, the development of socio-political side ignored. Therefore, the development has a problem. Maritime development in the coastal areas and archipelago are also experiencing the same dilemma. In order to obtain an understanding of maritime development, this study will analyze the policy of the Sunda Strait bridge. Therefore, this study will analyze, who benefited from the Sunda Strait Bridge project, and who was defeated in the Sunda Strait Bridge project. If we read Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) No 86 Tahun 2011 related to the Sunda Strait Bridge, the actors had been found, they are government officials (local and central) and national enterprises. This research found that conflicts of interest between the central and local elite, has resulted in making the Sunda Strait bridge construction was delayed several times. Local pore size correlations determine flow distributions in porous media

The relationship between the microstructure of a porous medium and the observed flow distribution is still a puzzle. We resolve it with an analytical model, where the local correlations between adjacent pores, which determine the distribution of flows propagated from one pore downstream, predict the flow distribution. Numerical simulations of a two-dimensional porous medium verify the model and clearly show the transition of flow distributions from $\delta$-function-like via Gaussians to exponential with increasing disorder.
